Sharing Pearl at the Marine Heritage Festival

Bernie’s Boat was thrilled to be invited to be part of Southampton’s Annual Marine Heritage Water Festival. On July 26th our Dragon boat, Pearl, was pulled from the water, scrubbed from bow to stern, and then put on display for all to see at the Southampton harbour. Members of our team greeted festival goers and shared information about Bernie’s Boat, our mission and our activities. Then, just before the start of the cardboard boat races, we did a paddle-by on the lake for all to see. The Marine Heritage Water Festival is a wonderful event bringing thousands of people to Southampton and we were thrilled to be part of it in 2025.
