Kicking Off Our Year at the Rotary Huron Shore Run

Our volunteer year kicked off at the Rotary Huron Shore Run on May 31st. Bundled up for the cold and the wind, Bernie’s Boat showed up to support the runners at the finish line. We helped with first aid on the course and doled out nutrition and drinks as everyone crossed the finish line. The RHSR is a fundraiser for the local Southampton branch of the Brightshores Health System. Bernie’s Boat was thankful to also receive a $1000 donation from the local rotaries as a thankyou gesture for our help.
