Honouring Terry Fox

Saugeen Shores hosted its 45th Terry Fox Run on September 14th, and Bernie’s Boat showed up in force along with over a hundred community members. Sherryl Petricevic, one of our members, spoke as the Terry’s Team Member this year. Her words were strong and powerful. The 40-member University of Windsor cross country team, fresh off a training camp near Wiarton, stopped by on its way home to take part in our Terry Fox Ceremony. Forming an honour guard at the start of the event, members high-fived all the participants as they headed out on the course. A beautiful day and a great end to a busy weekend!
